  February 8, 2024 - Half. 11/24. After a couple of seemingly evolved bottles with prune and coal tar notes, this is back in its stride. Mid ruby, just starting to show some garnet at the fringes, red fruit, a touch of wet earth and some early autumnal development. Retains a sense of bite. Good. ***

  January 21, 2021 - Half. Hmm, hopefully this is just a phase, but similar to last couple of halves — pruney, slightly stewed fruit. No coal tar on this one, and it is a bit more together with some bitter cherry fruit. Heavy sediment too. ***

  May 11, 2020 - This was enjoyed over 3 nights with a short decant the first night. paired beautifully with eye of the round roast beef. actually was best the 2nd night. very light. food wine not for sipping alone really

  January 18, 2019 - half. Quite dark, slightly pruney fruit. There's also a touch of something darker and more herbal, coal tar almost. Not the first time I've noted that character with Bruno Clair, and not just with 04s. Dark and a little surly on the palate, again with a slightly stewed character. Hmmm. **
