December 17, 2021 - 30 min in the glass and it was ready to go. Very nice balance and the fruit is fully integrated. Certainly in its prime with a solid decade of good drinking ahead. Pleasantly surprised. Revisit 2024

September 17, 2021 - Bordeaux 2000 Horizontal (KOGS): Cool and tight Bdx-style fruit profile but still in an expressive way.
Herbs and green bell pepper. Lovely wine.

June 1, 2021 - Lovely wine. An off note on the nose quickly blew off. Leather, graphite, blood, tobacco, raspberries, dried meat, peppery, a bit of chocolate. Drinking vey well now. Smoothed out a bit with and held up well to a bit of aged cheese.

March 23, 2021 - Better performance than our prior 375 - more fruit and more secondary notes (eucalyptus, cigar). With that said, at least from splits, it's time to drink up. The oxidative aspects are less pronounced here than they were with our prior bottle, but they're there.

    Dark, ox blood in color
Tertiary notes, leather, iodine, pencil lead, cigar box
Smooth, tastes like the nose. Absolutely delicious. Long finish.
