March 7, 2021 - Deep ruby color; unfortunately cloudy (just as the 2014 Bishop Block was last night.) Raspberry, black cherry, five spice (clove?) and a hint of ripe pear behind. Fruit and dusty tannins still going strong. Medium long finish, and very well balanced. Paired wonderfully with rack of lamb over a bed of fennel (coincidentally, one of the five Asian spices!)
