June 27, 2023 - sleepy dark fruits, medium finish, opened up over 3 hours but fruit was hidden and finish was muddled, disappointing; hold
April 9, 2023 - Out of a mag with a 3 hour decant. This was the wotn for several in our group but for me it just seemed a little off, like maybe it was a little past its prime. Very earthy and minerally with some pepper, spice and dark fruits. Good mouthfeel and long finish. Out of 16 people no one guessed that this was a California cab.
August 13, 2022 - Was very good on the first night, but pretty amazing on the second. Opened up significantly and showed such depth and complexity we were really surprised. I recommend decanting a few hours before enjoying. Glad we have more!

August 18, 2018 - Very good mountain fruit, but this is still a baby. This is my 3rd time trying and think it still need 5+ more years
March 31, 2018 - As many others have noted, still wound very tight. Definitely a mountain cab which could use more time. Last bottle regrettably but could easily use another 3-5 years if not more.
March 12, 2018 - Needs time... much potential, but still tight and wound up. Some '07s are really singing, but the ones built for the long haul are stubborn. Maybe next one in 5+ years.
