June 30, 2017 - Cool climate Syrah traits with New World polish. True to varietal. Missing the old vine and soil character of some of the best French versions, though. Lacking structure to improve from here, IMO.

July 11, 2015 - Medium bodied, strong spicy and pepper profile with a more red fruit profile. Well balanced, good acidity and fine tannins but for me it is possibly slightly shorter on the finish to merit a higher score. Still a thoroughly enjoyable Syrah from Dry River and will be fine in the cellar for a little while yet, don't think it will improve though.
