April 29, 2020 - Fourrier gradually changed style from 2005, and anything 2006 or older are not as attractive as the more recent vintages. This 2002 Griotte Chambertin is maturing at a good pace. Fragrant oak spices and dark berries. Not particularly intense or in-depth compared to recent vintages, but still very , and certainly not Griotte Chambertin level. (90/100)

October 5, 2018 - “Ruchotte” Dinner (Both Colors) (BlackSalt - Washington, DC): Textbook Griotte - black and red fruit with both weight and elegance. Complex combination of fruit, spice and faint earth notes, while still nicely bright and fresh.

October 14, 2017 - Cool red fruit with darker soil notes. A little clunky. Could use a a few more years. 92-93

June 24, 2017 - Musique & Vin Festival BYO Dinner with Musicians (1243 Bourgogne Society - Beaune): Small glass, brief note. Black and red cherry with some liqueur, roasted game and licorice hints. Emphasis here is on great balance and elegance, with good concentration, which is the hallmark of the Griotte terroir I truly enjoy. Upside from here.
