December 27, 2023 - Bought it on release and kept it in my cellar.

Bubbles still present and flies around in the beautiful golden liquid!

Fantastic nose, still feels pretty fresh with nuts, almonds, popcorn, butter, red apples and warm fresh bread! Wow!

Palet just as fantastic with the bubbles tickeling my tongue a little, the nuts, warm fresh baked bread with a little butter on it, ripe red apples and a very nice slight bitterness on the finish!

This is a wow wine in 🎯!! So complex and nice!

December 3, 2023 - faint bubbles, but pure nutty elegance. If you are a fan of old champagnes, this will deliver for you.

November 18, 2023 - Small pop. Golden straw color not so evolved for a 24 years old champagne. Explosive nose of buttered walnut evolving with something like current jelly. Light bubbles going out leaving to taste such a great wine. Mouthfilling and long aftertaste. Great wine surely ready but I don’t have enough experience to judge the future.

September 11, 2023 - I would consider myself a novice Champagne drinker. That said, aside from a 1979 Krug, this was the best bottle of Champagne I have had. Had in 750ML format which is showing its age with tons of vivacity and nuttiness. Just great wine!

October 20, 2022 - This was a delightful sharpener for our La Mission vertical dinner. Quite light and quaffable for a Winston, but beautifully balanced, rich, and light in its feet. In a really good place now

August 2, 2022 - Still tasted remarkably fresh, nose a little 'farmyardy' to begin with but opened up. Incredible rich and multi-layered cut through fatty pork in risotto really well.

July 9, 2022 - This was a beautifully mature Champagne. Golden color; hazelnut, apples, baked bread, tangerine peel, and almond; persistent bead; medium acidity; and a lovely, lingering finish. Developed some sherry notes with more time. We tasted over 2-3 hours. Definitely past peak, but still very compelling and delicious. Wonderful with food.
