    April 15, 2021 - Preserved strawberries, raspberries, roasted mushrooms dirt/earth, animal notes, black pepper. Long, lingering finish. Shocklingly still a good amount of acid and a light amount of tannin. Held up great after 55 years!

    May 11, 2016 - The nose showed some high-toned acidity and tender but beautiful fruit and earthy notes. The wine blossomed into a beauty, middle-weight and yet with really lovely intensity.

    January 6, 2016 - Past its prime fighting days, this is starting to crack up a bit. The fruit is still solid but the acid has become more pronounced.
