July 7, 2010 - Bryan's Dinner Party Offline (The Ledbury, London): Full ruby to deep garnet. Slightly bloody, meaty, sweet-fruited nose. Lots of fine sediment. Sweet old syrah fruit, crying out for game. Old fashioned, uncompromising, slightly rustic and very lovely. ****

May 27, 2010 - Glossy garnet with some light bricking. Stunning nose, constantly evolving in the glass with aromas of berry fruit, cedar, iron, furniture polish, tomato and dried meat. Beautifully evolved, still with great acidity. The palate is layered and intense with black pepper, blackcurrant, plums, spicy wood and a lovely iron-rich meatyness. Superb.
