November 19, 2022 - PnP consumed over 3 hours. Appearance: Clear, medium garnet - significant sediment clinging to side of bottle - showing all of it's 21 years. Nose: Clean, medium+ intensity with aromas of bell pepper, black pepper, clove, leather, tobacco, cassis and blackberry - a beautiful conglomeration of primary, secondary and tertiary characteristics indicating a wine in it's prime. Palate: Dry, medium acid, tannins are soft and supple - medium, medium intensity, 14.1% abv, medium+ body with a silky mouth-feel showing flavors of black cherry, leather, and bell pepper with a medium+ finish.
Overall a borderline outstanding wine in it's prime showing exceptional balance, great length and complexity, and above average intensity. I couldn't have expected any more from this mid-level 21 year old Napa cabernet from the lesser 2000 vintage- wonderful wine! Drink now. -

April 15, 2022 - EAB dinner. This bottle drank beautifully and was gone in a flash. Very nice herbal notes to balance the mid-weight frame. Bordeaux-like. Only bottle and magnum was a good dead at $69

April 14, 2022 - A nose of dark fruits and spice, dark garnet in color. A medium to full bodied Cab, with blackberry, cherry, tobacco and spice on finish, still has some life left, a solid Cab. www.winelx.com

June 5, 2021 - This is drinking great. Needed a couple hours and then it really opened up. Spice box and cedar on the nose, with dark fruit and leather as well. On the palate cherries, blackberry, soft tannins and nice minerality. Wish I had more
