January 17, 2021 - Surprisingly no signs of age. Consistent hue of very light ruby with just a faintly lighter rim, no browning. Nose of green pepper, warm cinnamon and graphite. Palate is a bit bolder with brambly fruits, light tar and pie spices. Smooth and medium long finish with some notable tannin. Nice wine though I struggle to see the $74 CT value. Don’t recall what I paid.
November 11, 2018 - Strawberry wine. As this is maturing it's pinot flavors are becoming distinctly "Strawberry."
October 6, 2018 - Super strawberry wine. Bright acidity, and some raspberries complete the package.
August 20, 2018 - Starting to brick. Hints of orange/brown at rim. Sweet strawberry flavors. Delicious. Great acidity helps this be food friendly.
May 15, 2017 - Vibrant, lively, complicated and nicely seguing into middle age-ness without actually showing its age. Wish I owned this. Excellent.
May 3, 2017 - Ripe cranberry, some earthy almost mushroom like notes on the finish. Not as bright and energetic as the last bottle, and there was a bit of alcoholic heat on the finish. Drink up.
April 21, 2017 - #2 of 6. Delicious strawberry-oriented,very pure fruit with detail and cut. Superb and will last another 6-8 years. Beautiful.
September 30, 2016 - Sweet cherry and raspberry fruit. This lacks the cola and sur maturite that many Cali PN seem to possess. Everytime I open an Anthill wine I'm pleasantly surprised by its balance between California fruit and Old World reserve and sophistication and ask why I don't buy more...

February 1, 2016 - 1 hr decant, vibrant red with hi toned yet deep enough fruit to not be thin at all. Excellent bottle, totally resolved tannins and perfect spot.
