December 26, 2011 - Floral, slightly honeyed, almost green guava. Displaying the balancing qualities of the Condrieu: slightly oiliness without weight and gently refreshing acidity. Finished slightly lactic and dry wood-inflected.
July 30, 2011 - Southern Rhone white wine, very little acid, butter like but no oak, silky and smooth. Vanilla and soft melon in the background, hint of grapefruit and anise. Finish is quick -- good food wine, chicken and summer roasted squash will pair well.
