November 26, 2020 - Iconic typicity if you like Barolos - two hours of light decanting opened the wine right up. BIG nose full of flowers and a bit of lovely earth/tar - only in the best way. This bottle and I became good friends in our one night together - the relationship was doomed to last only that long, in a covid solo Thanksgiving. 50/5/16/14/9

November 5, 2016 - Not giving much right now. Has a typical Barolo profile of red fruit, rose petal and leather. Medium bodied, still highly tannic and tight even with a 2 hour decant. Solid wine but either decant a lot longer than I did or wait a few.
