January 29, 2023 - The wine has a nose of blackberries, leather, and died cherries. The tannins are bold and smooth. The finish is long with some sweetness. What kept this from A 92 is the tiny alcohol bite on the mouthfeel still despite the age of the wine.

June 30, 2020 - Forgot I had this. Pop and pour but probably could have used an hour decant. Deep color, with a nose of dark cherries. A bit too much oak and a little syrupy for my taste but drinking well at this point. Medium finish with a bit of heat. Not a bad cabernet but nothing memorable either. Pretty bottle though.

April 26, 2020 - Dried cherries, cedar, leather, black pepper, and other red jimmy fruit make up the nose of this wine. Tannins are still very robust and the finish is lasting and smooth. This bottle is drinking very well. Clos Pegase seems to have used some cheap corks on the 2006 vintage. This wine seems better since the cork was saturated; yet, did not break up like previous bottles.

March 29, 2020 - This cab has a nose of graphite, dried cherries, black currants, cranberries, and vanilla. The tannins are extremely refined and the finish is very smooth and lasting. Still an 88.

April 27, 2019 - Probably a bit over the top, but still a nice bottle of wine. Drink it if you've got it.
