November 15, 2018 - Beautiful wine at this time. Nice acidity and fruit with hints of strawberries, black cherry, coffee and cocoa. Color is dark garnet. Very nice wine at the time if you have any. This wine was done in multiple lots. This one was believed to be lot 1 because it has no lot designation.

December 3, 2015 - Sour macerated fruit on the nose. Pallet has raspberry and cherry. I would not wait any longer on this wine if you have it in your cellar. Drink now.

March 31, 2014 - Black currant, oak, wine lees, boxwood, musk and slight leather as with the 07 but this one is herbaceous with a little tobacco. Very well balanced at this time, tannins and acid are almost in perfect balance now. Definitely give this wine about an hour to open up a little and you will be happy you did. Finish is rather mild. Did a flight tasting of this '05, and 07 and 08 and this was the one we liked the second best because of the nose. Garnet color, very Bordeaux in style.
