December 10, 2012 - Not bad, a bit over the hill, but still noticeably nebiollo, with whiffs of tar and earth coming through with the fading fruit and still very grippy tannins.

August 27, 2010 - Brick red in color, fading at the edge. The nose is exciting, exhibiting underbrush, flowers, red fruits, and tobacco. On the palate, however, this wine really does not offer much excitement. It is round in the mouth, with a medium body, but it feels decidedly tired. I feel that it lacks a bit of fruit and is a bit one dimensional. It also lacks vigor and concentration, making the finish somewhat routine.

December 23, 2006 - A second rate wine from a second tier producer. Who would have thought a 96 Barbaresco could show so one-dimensional. Not much on the nose. A bit hollow and green in the mouth. A disappointment.
