  September 14, 2022 - Starting to show its age and the fruit is slowly starting to fade and the secondary character is starting to emerge. A slight band aid flavor on the finish. Paired nicely with Duck Breast.

  July 22, 2018 - - Aromas of tea, bacon, cedar and dusty. It's balanced and has flavours of cherry, raspberry and black pepper with a medium body. Polished texture with a long finish - Decanted two hours. This wine is ready now. Still some good spicy tannins on the finish, a truly great Cali Pinot.

  April 15, 2018 - Quite disappointed. This pushes too far where pinots can go. This is a fruit bomb. In no way elegant.
  If you like pinots that are as expressive as some light zinfandels, this is your wine.

  April 30, 2017 - rich and fruity, with raspberry compote and strawberry preserves in abundance. You get the idea -- fruit bomb! Not my style, as i prefer more food-friendly nuanced wines, but can't complain that this is not a well-made wine and it surely will please west coast fans.
