June 16, 2013 - we really enjoyed this dark and delicious syrah. decanted for about 2 hours, and the last glass was better than the first. paired it with some simply grilled lamb loin chops, egg plant and greek salad.
June 7, 2013 - Poured directly into decanter. Color dark deep purple. This bottle was showing very nice much better than my last review almost one year ago. Nose blackberry, smoke, bacon. Palate is full bodied with a gritty texture. Tannis are still present. Good dark fruit flavors with a lingering smoke and licorice finish. Very happy this came around as I have one bottle left that I will leave in the cellar for another six months. The bottle is starting to form a pumice sediment. 5,13,15,6=89
