December 31, 2019 - Not particularly complex, but for $30 it hits all the right notes: Good bubbles, toasty brioche on the nose, lemon/pear on the palate, and a decently long finish.

January 14, 2019 - Love the bready nose, sweet citrus, but the palate lacks any fruit. Most of the flavor is muted, in fact. I would like this style of more muted yeasty flavor, but it just lacks too much. Most brightness and acidity is dead too. So close, yet so far...maybe this bottle is just over the hill? I'd try another from this estate for sure, but this bottle is lacking.
