March 15, 2020 - Cork disintegrates. Preternaturally youthful, yeasty, little or no fruit, little or no tannins. No noticeable carbon dioxide, but the malolatic probably continued in the bottle.

March 12, 2020 - Not a speck of sediment (which is a shame). Very subtle but excellent food wine. Just thinking that young wine never has the honeycomb flavor. This has oodles of honeycomb with some prunes and dirt in the mouth. Perfumed nose of blueberry, chocolate orange and old leather. Medium length finish dried apricots and frankincense.

November 25, 2019 - Tasted blind. Smells mature, more like old wine than anything else. Dilute, stale, charmless, I guessed an old off vintage Burg. When will I finally have the same Colares everyone else is drinking?

April 8, 2019 - Corked. This is turning into a very problematic case.

October 4, 2018 - VinoLaprisco Tasting (Restaurant De Karpendonkse Hoeve *, Eindhoven, Netherlands): Two bottles opened and double decanted, both identical and in my opinion both off. The nose seems volatile initially, but closer inspection reveals traces of carbon dioxide in the wine, probably owing to continued malolactic in bottle.
