February 18, 2018 - Beautiful! Just like the last time I tasted it a couple of years ago. The best of Aussie GSM. But I doubt it will get any better, so drink up! Be sure to decant, there was a lot of sediment in the bottle. And it took about an hour to open up after decanting.

December 24, 2014 - Very much as previous note but starting to fade. Still (just) in the excellent class but should be drunk up over the next year. My last.

March 2, 2014 - Benefited from 2.5 hour decant and being served at good room temperature.
Aroma of baked plum and berry fruits. Blackcurrant and red fruits on the palate, dense with a dash of tar and vegetal and capsicum traces giving both a mature feel and grip to this splendid and fairly complex wine. Good length.
Fully mature with another year or two ahead of it at this level.

November 14, 2012 - Beautiful nose. Strawberry and plum with balanced acidity. Great wine.

October 7, 2011 - I am really enjoying this.. getting some sour plum... a touch of earthiness... well balanced and soft on the tongue...
