  May 23, 2016 - Opened one hour before pairing with cracked peppercorn beef filet. A medium ruby robe, the nose features cherry, vanilla and oak. A vanillic cherry bomb on the palate, with a heavy oak-tinged finish. Probably a favored style of some, but not in my case. For comparison, I definitely enjoyed the 2013 Louis M. Martini Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon consumed yesterday over this.

  November 20, 2015 - Black cherry initial flavor and nose with a underpining of tobacco or tar. Soft to medium tanin. Surprisingly good for the price.

  December 14, 2013 - This was a very nice surprise. Well-balanced, very little heat and not the fruit bomb I was expecting. I don't see this wine getting any better and hard to say how much longer it will last. I recommend drinking now.
