August 3, 2021 - Seems to be peaking in flavor right now - plenty of body and grip left but nicely integrated tannins and juicy blackberry fruit, nose is nothing amazing but a stellar pour overall.

November 23, 2018 - Drank too young. Still lots of bite and life in this thing. But the flavors and acid are there for it to become some soft purple grape jam thing in a few years. My guess is it’s rating is unfairly low because everyone is drinking it too soon. If I had another I’d wait until 2022 or beyond.

April 13, 2016 - Drank this over a few days. Generally a nice wine with plenty of fruit and soft tannins and balancing acidity. There was enough leather and candy store spice notes to keep it interesting.

January 16, 2016 - Smooth mouthfeel with dark black fruit. Subtle earth creeping in. Moderate acidity and resolved tannins. Drink now.

January 11, 2016 - Very good but may be beyond its prime, was expecting a bit more WOW
