Community Tasting Notes 7

May 15, 2016 - The wine is clear with medium gold with a greene hue, looks developed

On the nose its clean medium intense with aromas of floral notes of lilly, lavendel, fennikel, black tea, grapefruit, red apples, hint of tropical fruit/nectar. Developed.

On the palate it is dry, medium+ acidity, medium+ alcohol body and flavour intensinty. Aromas of; red apples, grapefruit, black tea, floral notes of lavendel, lillys and roses, white pepper, anise/fennikel. Medium long finish.

This is very good quality wine which os perfect to deink now, can be kept but not with long potential for agening. The wine i very well balanced considering the relativ high alcohol for white wine, the concentration is solid with intense aromas and very complex. Finish is not that long. This is a very good quality wine, 90p

November 12, 2010 - Abricots, lychees and cream. Underwhelming nose perhaps past it's best.

June 28, 2010 - Disappointed because of price. I would only pay $20 for this wine at the most! The nose was lovely and worth 90 plus points, but it gave us false expectations. The fruit flavors were muted in both tasters opinions (maybe this wine was made with a malolactic fermentation explaining why the ripe fruit notes may have been lacking). After recently drinking Jaffurs Rousanne and many excellent California Chardonnays, this wine came up short and exttremely dry in comparison. Not my style.

February 20, 2010 - Absolutely gorgeous wine. Rich and powerful but supremely balanced with wonderful floral and citrus flavors.

(Domaine Faury Condrieu) Medium lemon yellow color; floral, pear, almond nose; appealing, tart pear, almond, floral palate with medium body and concentration, and lowish acidity; ready now and should last another 1-2 years; medium finish
