    March 15, 2014 - Popped and poured. Still remarkably intact. No bricking. Intense red fruit and briary nose. Some smoke seems to come and go on the nose also. Lots of red fruit left on the palate. Good acid matched well with homemade pizza. Unfortunately, my last bottle.

    May 10, 2011 - Really outstanding. Dark fruit with soft integrated tannins. The finish had a bit of cedar or tobacco. Drink up now.

    (Carlisle Zinfandel Russian River Valley) Group's #2 (my #4) – 39 pts; 3 1st place votes, 2 2nd place votes, 2 thirds, 0 last places – black violet color; plummy, spicy, raisin nose; big, monolithic, hot, grape and black fruit, that softens after an hour to more characteristic Zin spicy and plummy notes; hot on short-medium finish 85+ pts. (15.7%)
