November 6, 2021 - Rubied; tertiary, leaf mould, band ai, blossomed with considerable air; fully developed, low key fruit, nourished, grainy; flourishes on a driven finish, very long. Best drunk soon?

December 6, 2018 - Dinner at Etto: This showed quite well. Nose has a lot of spicy herbs, tart cherries, sage, soy. Moderate tannins, medium+ acidity, with lots of smoky herbs, pepper, menthol. A really spicy and tangy wine that is likely nearing the end of its run.

September 9, 2018 - Good, but closer to adequate than outstanding. Notes of tobacco and forest fruit, a hint of bell pepper, a mouthful of the same, not completely ripe and slightly brown at the edges, but a confident if restrained finish. Enjoyable but not memorable.

March 25, 2014 - On the 1st night, it was a great Bourgueil. Tobacco, dark fruits, good structure, a little Bordeaux like.
Did not re-taste it until 2 days later and it totally fell apart, lost its structure and fruit was flat.
Oh well, at least we enjoyed it on the 1st night.
