Community Tasting Notes 12

February 15, 2016 - A lot of dark fruit. Deep purple color. Cooked plums. Getting near the peak. Lavender floral. Clay earth.
The wine looks violet colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle.

December 28, 2013 - Brooding, dark garnet color. Black fruit, blueberry and spice on the nose. Creamy, mouth-filling black fruit, spice and vanilla on the palate. Cracked pepper on a 15 second finish. Mature at this point, and don't expect much improvement from here.

January 19, 2013 - Very smooth. Aroma of cherry and blackberry. Clove and cola on the palate.

Paired it with a Cincinnati chili for Hockey Night in Canada. It was an excellent pairing.

November 10, 2012 - I must have gotten some bad bottles. Purchased 2. First one was corked. Second one wasn't bad, but wasn't good. Didn't taste at all like the notes of others. very flat

September 6, 2012 - Blueberry, eucalyptus, sage and garrigue on the nose; similar flavors on the palate. Good balance and smooth finish. Very drinkable, both with and without food.
