October 23, 2015 - 375 ml bottle with ullage 5-6 cm, so very low expectations. Popped-and-poured, this had 5 minutes of (very) mature black fruit, well reduced mushroom and roasted meat. Little pleasure after 5 minutes, then nothing interesting after 10 minutes.

October 20, 2012 - 50th Birthday Celebration Dinner with Wine (Chez Schmidt - Chicago IL): I opened the two best 375ml bottles I had. Very big difference between the two. One was entirely earthy with faint spice hints and a little muddy, probably 82 points. The other bottle (betterf ill) had lingering signs of fruit, better spice and greater balance, and was perhaps 87 points.
