  February 4, 2017 - The fruit has transformed to a complex maze of undergrowth, leather, blood sausage, and that is apparent equally on the nose and the palate. The finish in the mouth is invigorating with very fine tannins and good acidity.

  October 23, 2014 - Beautiful notes of plums and milk on the nose. The palate is very interesting, with a trip from dark fruits to an acidic finish with soft tannins. Great everyday drinker.

  April 18, 2013 - Dark, inky purple. Full body. This starts out with some really harsh tannins and tart acidity, but after 45 minutes in the glass it really begins to mellow and integrate. The cedar is definitely there, especially on the nose, as well as licorice and chalky earth, and behind that there are some deep, potent black fruits. Actually, this stuff is pretty decent, especially for the price. Give it a one hour decant and pair it with some robust food.

  November 3, 2011 - A blend of 60% Jaen also known as Mencía in Spain, 25% Touriga Nacional, 10% Alfrocheiro and 5% Tinta Roriz also known as Tempranillo in Spain aged 6 months in French oak cask.
