September 20, 2017 - Fat and rich in the moment, this one needs at least 6-8 years more time to become a really great wine. Complex, dark berries, long finish - alcohol level is very high and imo too noticeable. Patience will be rewarded.

September 9, 2017 - Amazing wine and perfectly ready. Surprised by some comments who felt too young, as the tannins in this bottle were silky smooth.
Dark color with a nose of spice and cedar. On the palate dark berry and chocolate with a finish of spice and berry that lingers. Delicious.

September 2, 2017 - Needs 5-7 hours to open and settle down. Still big tannins. Lots of life left. Blackberry, coffee, chocolate, tea leaves, wet tobacco and slight alcohol on the finish. Well balanced overall. A really great wine. Will continue to improve.

July 16, 2017 - Wake Surfing & Wine with Mr and Mrs BobbyG; 7/16/2016-7/17/2017 (Lake Oconee, GA): This is an incredible wine. WOTN by all four of us against chateau pavie, screaming eagle second flight and O'shaughnessy. Just in such a great drinking window but can clearly go another 10 years. Tannins are well integrated. Nose is dense, rich, blue fruits. Bold for sure but not over the top. Tremendous wow wine.
