January 29, 2023 - PnP and followed for a day. Black and red cherry, red currant, touch of strawberry, smoke, earth, graphite, and some herbs on the nose. Red plum, black cherry, tart cherry, earth, spice, and a little herbs on the palate. Tangy acidity, mostly integrated tannins, leaving a light grip in the mouth, medium-long savory finish. Wow, so savory, almost meaty. Very nice. There's some smoke but not detecting smoke taint.
March 20, 2021 - A perfectly integrated Pinot. A nose of fruit and earth blended together. Due to a cork issue needed to decant. Was nervous with a 13 year old wine but it really opened up. Fruit ... some strawberry but also some darker fruits as well. Later in the evening the savory earth tones were more notable. Will enjoy the rest in the cellar with pleasure!
June 15, 2019 - Still in a great spot, drinking very well. Reminds one of the finest old world Pinot Noirs, just reaching it's prime. Perfectly integrated and softened while maintaining distinct aromas of ripe strawberry with rhubarb and flavors of red berries, black cherries, and fresh plums with a hint of baking spice.
February 22, 2019 - Very nice now. Just hitting its peak.
July 6, 2018 - Consumed over two days. Tasting really good right now, glad I have a few more.
November 24, 2017 - A good showing. A bit rough in the mouth, and the nose is a bit reticent but the overall picture is a pretty one.
Not gonna get any better me thinks so time for the last bottle.
September 24, 2016 - Some pleasant perfume of rose and cherry plus some alcohol poking through. In the mouth, encumbered with weight and alcohol at the expense of detail, comes across correct but kind of hulking and boring. Still good though.
January 3, 2015 - Still quite saturated, reticent nose, fleshy mouth, decent length. Still some room to grow.
Try next next year, in 2016...?

September 19, 2014 - Some smokiness -- a reminder of the fires of the summer of 2008. Delightful wine -- inspiring wine: the smokiness actually enhanced the wine, but appeared to blow off with time in the glass. Best taste was the last one ...
