January 28, 2024 - Couleur grenat, légèrement tuilée, semi opaque, nez très expressif fruits noirs confiturés, pruneaux, pointe de réglisse. Bouche assez longue, accord parfait avec brouillade aux truffes.

November 27, 2023 - Daniel's White Truffle Birthday Lunch (Otto Y Mezzo, Alexander House, Landmark, Central, Hong Kong): From magnum. Intense, deep purple-red, semi-opaque. Nose is is really powerful blast of boysenberry and confit raspberry with the slight feral scent of a baby wild pig…. older damp wild pig with time in the glass. Palate is tannic on entry but not overly so, just young. Green because of youth, exacerbated in magnum. Nice deep blackcurrant fruit already shows through but tannin is almost overwhelming afterwards. Heady and potentially headachey on the finale at this stage of its youth. 90 with potential for 93-95 in 10 years.

April 21, 2023 - Opened by Jcubed. 2nd time I have had this and both times courtesy of Jim. Last time was 17 years ago. This showed very well. Deep purple color. Notes of spices, black fruit and garrigue. The tannins still had quite a grip to them. Well rounded with a smooth finish. Even better than the last bottle. 95 points.

March 12, 2023 - Blind tasting. Dense, southern with plum and prune, also good structure so the combination still works. This aged well and is mature now, time in the glass did not do good. Drink up.

March 10, 2023 - Tasted blind. This was notably tainted by beef juicy notes, masking aging notes and on balance a red type of berry fruit. The palate was then surprisingly sweet and juicy, but for me this bottle was already spiraling down to the happy hunting ground.
