March 11, 2019 - 39% Grenache, 24% Syrah, 37% Mourvèdre with 12 mo in barrel of which 80% was new. Very different taste profile vs most CdP that are more Grenache dominant. Half the group at the tasting had this as their WOTN despite being up against some serious competition. I prefer the Grenache dominant/neutral oak CdPs. Still very good.

February 11, 2019 - PnSlowOx. Light garnet behind orange/brown. Nose indicates fruit is fading fast, but plenty of secondary/tertiary notes. Some strawberry/cherry still present. Palate is balanced between lighter fruit weight and acidity. My notes from 12 years ago barely noted acidity as is was behind so much fruit. Now it is a harmonious feature. Plan to hunt down my last bottle soon.

October 6, 2018 - Drank with Ross at Port Superior with massive prime rib. This was perfect match. Wine still holding up and not at all flabby, but tannins totally resolved. Fun to drink. Don't think I'd wait to drink for any reason, other than right occasion.

May 9, 2018 - Was not as impressed by this as the ‘04 that I had a couple weeks earlier - may have just been the bottle?

Wasn’t as integrated, alcohol was a bit overpowering
