December 31, 2021 - Loved this! Drinking great with a beautiful nose and a elegant and complex palate.

June 7, 2020 - Brief note- Pnp. Still very backward and tight. Mineral-driven with dark cherry and oak spice. If you must drink this now, it needs to be decanted.

August 31, 2017 - Decanted for 90 mins, but it still could not open up. Violets, gentle oak and spice on the nose. Palate has good stuffing with soaring acidity, but it's still restrained. I do have faith on this wine with more time in the cellar.

May 14, 2017 - Opened and decanted an hour before serving and then drank over 2 hours. Lots of dark berry and cherry on the nose with intense purple floral as well. The more it opened up, some brown spice (most clove) came out too. Much darker fruit than I anticipated based on the 2008 vintage in general. The same berry/cherry fruit came through on the palate as well with a good mineral core to it. The fine ground spice note came though in the midpalate and carried through on the very long finish. Really quite delicious, but plenty of stuffing to go awhile longer.
