January 28, 2022 - Another superb showing of the 08 Bouzereau Meursault Les Perrieres. A fairly advanced light to medium color in the glass but the wines explodes on the palate with freshness and minerality, a touch of sweetness and nuttiness from the oak, great delineation and medium to long finish. A wow Perrieres - drink now.

August 17, 2021 - After an advanced / flawed bottle, am happy to report that this bottle was back to old form. Medium straw / lemon yellow but still wonderfully fresh with plenty of minerality. Initially a little chalky and tight but does merely need some 20 min in the open bottle to come together. Excellent Meursault Perrieres at its peak.

July 23, 2021 - After a great first bottle almost a year ago, this seemed too advanced for an 08. Just a touch of oxidization creeping in too. Not a clear premox case , perhaps just an off bottle

September 19, 2020 - Pnp but this needs a good hour in the open bottle to show its best. Pale lemon yellow in the glass. Initially a bit too soft and round this gains delineation with a bit of air. Lovely fine texture, good minerality, perhaps a touch too sweet for my liking but that’s a Chablis drinker’s comment. Good length too. First time drinking Michel Bouzereau, glad to have a few more and hope there won’t be (m)any premox casualties.

August 17, 2019 - Meursault Perrieres blind tasting 1988-2011: Fresh, complex, mineralic and zesty. Solid wine, hard to fault just tonight with the stiff competition, the aromatic persistence was a bit too short for a higher score.
