May 30, 2021 - Very deep, silky, ripe and rich... a bit too much for me these days, but quite tasty if you're looking for a big fruit fwd CdP

May 6, 2020 - Four hour decant. Plum, cherry and barnyard nose. Dark red. Full bodied with a fruit explosion of blackberry and plum with hints of licorice and chocolate. Long plum and peppery finish. Just wow!

November 23, 2019 - Carafed approximately 4-5 hours before drinking. Beautiful dark, dried blood color, and very noticeable scent of wild mushrooms, combined with chocolate, a little bit of vanilla and liquorice. Very present legs on the rim of the glass. And then.... the magic! All silky and round beautiful tanins, so soft and silky, with a touch of sweetness. Absolutely beautiful. Definitely reminded me of the extraordinary 2001 we had in a restaurant in Sorgues (Vallée du Rhone) in October. An amazing Chateauneuf.

May 15, 2018 - Its not very often that I had a Châteauneuf du pape that shows blood characteristics in nose and palette so typical of northern Rhône. This bottle has 55% Syrah. So there you have it. Concentrated, yet not overripe as so many 2007’s tend to be. Dark red and black berries in the nose and palette. Blood. Roasted herbs and a dash of pepper. Nice acidity balancing the fruit and keeping it fresh and alive. This is drinking nicely now but it surely wil hold for another decade as well.
