November 19, 2022 - Acker JK 51st birthday in NYC. Intense aromas of candied red and black fruits, a hint of reduction, followed by a dense and seriously concentrated mouthfeel, black and red fruits, abundant but very fine tannins, saturates the mouth in the end but still folded over itself and not at maturity yet, a long life ahead and in need of more cellar time. It will be a great CDP in due course, I loved it. Be patient, open in 10 years.

January 27, 2022 - La Tablee: Bonneau retrospective (Mercerie): Young and perhaps a bit less expressive than the '10 and the '09. Red fruits still there. Not ready yet of course. A bit more alcohol here again but I suspect that will integrate with time.
