  March 27, 2024 - Drank at unicorn night at Susan's. Many thought this was WOTN - up against 07 DRC, 96 Krug, etc. Double decanted. Poured in glass the perfume filled the room. Nose of flowers, licorice, blueberry, and dark cherry. Tasted like biting into a chocolate covered cherry - with the most amazing chocolate on that cherry. None of this Hershey stuff! Superb balance; not bloated or flabby. I thought this might be too young but it was sensational. I'm thinking other bottles being able to age much longer.

  La bouche est magnifique, celle d'un authentique Ch9 racé, à la fois si complexe et d’une grande buvabilité. Profond et d’une plénitude admirable. 96 pts

  November 19, 2022 - Acker JK 51st birthday in NYC. Intense aromas of candied red and black fruits, a hint of reduction, followed by a dense and seriously concentrated mouthfeel, black and red fruits, abundant but very fine tannins, saturates the mouth in the end but still folded over itself and not at maturity yet, a long life ahead and in need of more cellar time. It will be a great CDP in due course, I loved it. Be patient, open in 10 years.
