September 10, 2019 - Quite developed nose. Black olives, forest fruit, barnyard and some tomato. Not so much fruit left on the palate, still those green tannins present. A victim of the vintage and over the top.
November 4, 2016 - Nez reduit.
August 31, 2016 - Good for the vintage. No need to store this.
March 17, 2016 - Wine Education Service - The Northern Rhône (Imperial College): Age showing, just opaque.
Feral and fruity nose.
Fruity, very soft tannins, silky mid palate, delicious, long.
October 24, 2015 - Popped and poured. Immediately accessible - crushed raspberries, some funk, liquorice. Balancing acidity and gentle tannins on end. Pretty, fairly feminine, on the light side. After 30 minutes started to lose the fresh red fruits and became slightly heavier and less balanced. To drink now.
October 1, 2014 - North Rhone tasting (Egge): Very accessible already now, however the tannins are very green.
March 15, 2014 - Opaque dark crimson. Thinly sour on the nose, metallic notes, light red fruits - raspberry and strawberry; some cloves. Dry in the mouth. Big taste but much thinner texture. Savoury initially, gives way to tart strawberries, raspberries, thinning cranberries and perhaps redcurrants. A curious taste of rare roast beef. Complex, and pleasant.
January 11, 2014 - Very disappointing - this wine has fallen off a cliff in the last two years. Thin, acidic and devoid of fruit. Drink up if you have them.
January 5, 2014 - This wine does a nice job balancing traditional and modern Northern Rhone characteristics - well-defined bouquet with notes of violets, red fruits and pepper; there's a hint of gaminess and a thread of minerality on the palate, finishing with sweet tannins;
November 20, 2013 - Fresh, tarte, red fruit Rhone wine.
