September 7, 2019 - PnP at a restaurant and just a few minutes needed to fully open. This was better than expected. Drinking very well now, with a velvety, lithe texture, but still with enough dark fruit, tannin, and acidity to provide excellent structure. Not particularly complex, layered, or concentrated, but just a beautiful mature Bordeaux that pairs so well with food (lamb loin in my case). My first bottle, so don't have a prior perspective, but will drink my other within the next 1-2 years as I really like where this is at.

July 21, 2019 - tannins are melted but the wine is still primary on the fruit side. I don't think this will get better than now but it does make a great wine to sip without food.

June 26, 2019 - Dicht und lange, aber aromatisch leider verschlossen. Ich würde ihm in 2-3 Jahren wieder eine Chance geben.

May 26, 2019 - amazing improvement intros wine over time and shows the 2000's really are built to age - this was lovely, mature and complex

April 16, 2019 - The fill was into the neck and the cork was pristine; popped, poured and consumed over the course of the evening. Deep garnet core turning to blood red at the rim. A bit restrained on the nose, offering up notes of sous bois, graphite, plums and hints of tobacco. Medium bodied, high toned, and a bit stern on the palate; made in a classic style. Lacking a bit in terms of charm; definitely a wine to consume over a meal.
