May 30, 2020 - This wine is drinking wonderfully. Its shed some of that CA pinot fruit that was a little overwhelming, revealing a wonderful Burgundian funk. I wouldnt hold it a lot longer, but you wont be disappointed if its been stored properly.

January 1, 2018 - My second favorite behind their Sea Smoke effort. Still lots of fruit present and it paired very well with a Salmon Wellington. Very enjoyable and more Raspberry than cherry or other fruit. Acidity was still balanced and the tannins were fully resolved.

February 13, 2016 - Among several bottles shared with friends over the weekend. The Julia's vineyard had a big "wow" factor among the group. Winetime10's notes continue to accurately capture the wine- plum, dark cherry and funk. Sadly this was the last of the 2008's I have from Foxen.
