November 26, 2020 - Two consecutive corked bottles. Bummer.
November 21, 2020 - French-themed dinner at home: Corked.
March 3, 2020 - While quite tart and crunchy this wine offers solid density and structure to pair well with rich foods. Delicate earthy aromas of rose petals, crushed stones, forest floor, and cherries. The palate is rigid, crisp, and earthy with lean fruit flavors and firm tannins. I actually think this wine could use some time but I do not know if there is enough fruit to hold up over time. Still this wine is quite good with food and aging admirably.
June 24, 2019 - Tasted over 2 hrs
-dark red minimal bricking
-high-toned reserved dark fruit
-med+/hi acidity carries through to the finish where it dries out the remaining tannins, med- weight super tart dark cherry
-imbalanced by the acidity
January 28, 2018 - Earth and dirt. I loved it, and it does not pretend to be anything other than what it was. This is bourgogne. Such transparency, tension and vibrancy. but should be about time to drink up!
November 27, 2016 - This is a proper wine. Pretty and floral, if a bit lacking in depth. This particular bottle carries the acid of the vintage well. Liked it.
October 16, 2015 - Very good for what it is. A bit tart and acidic at first (a characteristic of the vintage?) that got rounder and more integrated with air. Should be a ble to last for quite a few more years.
September 17, 2015 - Lovely elegant Bourgogne with a feather weight, tart, spicy, red fruit profile. Little funk on an intriguing mature nose. Drinks great right now. A steal at $21.50.
November 27, 2014 - Some meaty, animale funk greets the nose. The palate is crunchy and red fruited but a little too skinny, mean and hard.
March 19, 2014 - Still drinks killer for me! Bright, crunchy, floral, spice.
