September 29, 2023 - White wine of the day for me, this was the most complete and resolved of them all. The question we all discussed was whether it was better because it had a couple years more age than the others, or whether it was the previous winemaker's style. Whatever the case may be, this was an epic wine at the level of the finest Montrachet, sharing that staggering "meal in a bottle" quality that one gets from the finest DRC and Lafon Montrachet vintages.
As stunning as this was, I'm not entirely certain I'd keep these in the cellar for the long haul; this seemed to be in a perfect spot and maybe oxidation becomes a risk in a few years?
July 2, 2023 - Great dense texture and acidity. My palate was a little off and I tasted a little bruised apple character so I never connected with this bottle that I brought, but others at the table thought that this was great.
September 16, 2022 - This was the 3rd time I’ve had this wine over the years, and it’s never shown well, coming from 3 different sources…this was my bottle. Very muted and closed, we gave it air but it never came around and someone suggested it might be oxidized. i didn’t pick up sherried notes but there were hints of something tropical if you looked hard enough. Odd

December 25, 2021 - Racy, concentrated, and exciting, full of crisp fruit and a creamy, reductive character. But still primordial, in need of a few years more in the cellar.
August 19, 2021 - Very good depth here, while not fraying at all on the edges. Very good bottle.
June 3, 2021 - Clean and crisp. Outperformed the '02.
March 31, 2021 - Open side by side with a bottle of white Rayas ChDP. Cork with some mold on the outside. Glossy though diluted golden colour. Aromatically metallic, floral and stony memories appear. Also anises and bone fruit. A complex wine at the same time elegant and aristocratic. Decadent but never excessive. Notes that remain remarked in the brain. Immense. The palate stands out for its balance where each element seems to perform a dance in perfect harmony. Tamed acidity, silky density; a tasty and wide wine, slightly saline (mineral) and with an overwhelming length. I do not find any edge. Although at the moment I do not know if it is already his son who takes care of the winery, with bottles how this is understood that the jerifaltes of the Burgundian lodge want to promote it to GC category. From my illiterate point of view it certainly deserves it. Sublime bottle, infinite. Thanks again Borja.
Abierta codo con codo con una botella de ChDP blanco de Rayas. Corcho con algo de moho en la parte exterior. Brillante aunque diluido color dorado. Aromáticamente aparecen recuerdos metálicos, florales y pedregosos. Tambien anises y frura de hueso. Un vino complejo a la par que elegante y aristócrata. Decadente pero nunca excesivo. Notas que se quedan marcadas en el cerebro. Inmenso. Al paladar sobresale por su equilibrio donde cada elemento parece ejecutar una danza en perfecta armonia. Domada acidez, sedosa densidad; un vino sabroso y amplio, ligeramente salino (mineral) y con una apabullante longitud. No encuentro arista alguna. Aunque actualmente no se si ya es el hijo el que se encarga de la bodega, con botellas cómo ésta se entiende que los jerifaltes de la logia borgoñona quieran promocionar este terruño a GC. Desde mi iletrado punto de vista lo merece sin duda. Sublime botella, infinita. Gracias de nuevo Borja.
