April 12, 2020 - all i have to say is that Schildkneckt's tasting notes are way off. i get none of the attributes, especially any hint of astringency. and what was he smoking when he came up with cassis and cocoa? this wine has good depth and fruit and a commendable balance.

April 12, 2020 - beautiful robe of slightly tawny crimson, bricking around the edges; on the nose, the wine exhibited smoky dark cherries and spice; on the palate, the wine showed good acidity and smooth tannins with a deep currant of fruit and substantial body. Probably peaking now, but with sufficient acidity to carry it further if the fruit holds upl Yum.

December 4, 2019 - beautiful robe, aromas of dark cheries and blueberries and spices. no hint of oak. Great balance,acidity deftly offset by huge fruit elements. the wine apparently unfiltered as some sediment is present.
