June 20, 2021 - Great old wine. A little spicey. A little fruity. A little earthy. A little bit of everything mixed together to have this really good old zin

May 8, 2021 - I was doing inventory last month and found this bottle so I tried it before it goes funky on me. I was so impressed, it was full bodied with some chewy tannins, I could taste the zin which is a nice change from my regular cab. Wish I had more, will definitely add more to my cellar if I can find some.

October 3, 2020 - A mature, elegant, balanced wine. Fair amount of sediment stuck in the shoulder of the bottle. There is fruit (red fruit, plum/prune) and acid in balance, long finish, elegant nose and maturity that zins usually don’t achieve. A delight.

September 5, 2020 - Geyserville '08 offers really attractive development and complete integration of juicy raspberry/plum fruit and high-quality American oak. Medium-bodied and well balanced at 14,5 % abv, it drinks with ease, and is great match with BBQ-style cooking. Should age gracefully for several years more. Hats off!

August 9, 2020 - Dark red plums, Christmas spices, vanilla, and a not unpleasant dusty attic aroma. In the mouth it was cranberries, more plum, and a hint of sweet tannin. A very nice package aging gracefully. Probably at peak or getting close. Drink or hold.

July 18, 2020 - Currant, mint, dark fruit and some new oak. Not the best Geyserville I have had, but very good.

July 3, 2020 - Dark ripe raspberries and blackberries on the nose with spice/herb and baked pie crust. Incredible nose once it gets more and more air.
Very nice on the palate. This is an exceptional Geyserville. Fruit driven, nice acidity, oak well integrated, overall balance tremendous and a very long finish. This reminds me of a vanilla, cherry and chocolate dessert my grandparents used to make. This wine is still so much alive.

June 12, 2020 - Deer, clear red colour. Cranberry and cherry on nose. Similar taste along with spice, liquorice and a touch of vanilla / oak. Fresh with a long finish. Multi-layered and lovely - drinking beautifully. One of the most enjoyable wines had so far this year.
