June 24, 2016 - No detailed notes, but this is in a great place right now. Took about 20 minutes open to come around and lose the rough edges. Should hold for years to come, but if you have multiple open one now and enjoy.

May 26, 2015 - Decanted 1 hr. ahead off of zero sediment. Ruby-garnet color, tinged with orange. Pleasant nose but a bit closed, with cherry, plum, and a very nice secondary blast that I can only call floral-creosote. Medium-bodied and firm on the palate, not flabby or tart. Drying finish with very light and velvety tannins, more plum/cherry flavors. This wine has repaid the wait: it has both deliciousness and interesting secondary aromas.
