December 31, 2023 - Lovely with beef bourguignon. Benefited from 3 hour decant and got even better with food and another hr.
Elegant, refined, the subtleties are stunning.
December 25, 2023 - From magnum. Fresh and very fruit forward. Almost tastes more Napa the Bordeaux.
December 25, 2023 - The wine was inky-purple colored. A is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like mineral, forest floor, cedar, rose, raspberry and black currant (cassis). Flavors of raspberry, black currant (cassis), mushroom, black pepper and plum. Medium bodied wine that felt smooth and round in the mouth. Nice medium long finish. There are enough tannins and acid to think this wine has at least another 10-15 years at a near peak drinking window
December 19, 2023 - Currant, pencil shavings, cigar box. Classic profile. Fairly balanced, modest fruit at this stage.
December 10, 2023 - Big bouquet of blackberry, currants along with cedar and a hint of alcohol. The wine has excellent fruit, good acidity and smooth tannins that still have a bit to resolve. Excellent wine with plenty of years ahead of it.
November 26, 2023 - C’est quand même très bon. S’efface un peu après 4-5 heures. À boire.
November 11, 2023 - Big terroir driven nose with loads of interesting aromas. Drinking very well now at 14 years old and has a classic Margaux palate with Cabernet and merlot beautifully melding together. Still has plenty of time left to develop further but you won’t regret opening a bottle now.
October 29, 2023 - This wine has dark ruby color, with slight browning at the rims.
Nose of vanilla, tobacco as well as dried & stewed fruit including cherries, plum, and some green pepper.
Full-bodied concentrated with decent complexity, with less oak on the palate. The tannins are well-integrated. The high alcohol tastes quite sharp though.
Well developing, with most of the primary fruit becoming less apparent.
