October 13, 2012 - Not a great finish. I let it decant for two hours. Real dry, though little berry ....for 12 dollars okay. Don't finish with this one

December 10, 2011 - PnP - A bit of funk on the nose along with some dark fruits. Smooth easy drinking wine that matches aromas with plums, blackberries. No heat at all and one dimensional. Tasty wine and for $12 a nice value.

April 14, 2011 - Stewed fruit (cassis, raspberry and plum), cough drops, salt liquorice and a hint of dark florals.
Medium bodied palate with slight grip and mid-level acidity. Some spices and medicinal notes towards the long sulfury finish.
    Not that good.

March 26, 2011 - Unpretentious, sweet and fruity with quite good balance. A good nose with sun mature fruit, from black currants to some raspberries. The oak is evident but in a sweet and liqourice filled style. The mouth feel is oaky and spicy, and leaves with a rather rough and clumsy middle part... Overall good but not more. Well worth the money though, I would buy it again. 83-84 p.
