February 4, 2024 - K3. Fresh as ever, but missing some of the highest Raveneau notes. Dinner at Guillaume’s.

September 10, 2022 - 200 Burgundy Grand Crus from vintage 2000, 4-day blind tasting (Singapore): Discrete nose, very balanced, middle of the road type of wine, good, but not overly complex. Clearly I had better Raveneau than this.

August 7, 2022 - Beautiful, rich, mineral driven Chablis. Oyster shells and honey suckle in a bed of minerals with some sweetness. Great Chablis.

February 17, 2022 - The crystalline purity of Raveneau is on full display here. This bottle was so youthful with a great cut of acidity and a long, palate-staining finish. I did re-visit it later in the meal and the additional air revealed much more complexity with notes of tropical fruits and chalky minerals. Memorable, fantastic and classic aged Raveneau. At The Grill, NYC.

June 22, 2021 - 2000 Raveneau is in a real sweet spot for me. It still has all the weight of youth but it's adding one increased waxy salinity that you get from aged Raveneau. Then you amplify it with the power that is Valmur and it's this rich waxy spice seashell laden drink that is present now with some air but will still reward you in time.
