April 1, 2024 - Last of 6 bottles purchase in 2010 as futures. Dark red color. On nose, black currant, dark cherry, chocolate, sweet cherry and touch of oak/cedar. Medium+ body, medium acidity/tannins and very long finish - still fruit dominant on palate (sweet cherry, red currants) with no signs of oxidation. 93+

I need to buy some more recent vintages of this wine.

January 27, 2024 - Expressive nose displaying generous ripe black fruit, blackberry jam, chocolate coated strawberry, cappuccino, caramel, noticeable oak, dark spices and earth. Very good concentration, generous ripe black fruit, silky and smooth, medium acidity, earthy mineral, and a long ripe black fruit driven finish with a hint of oak at the end. The oak note is quite strong still.

July 14, 2023 - Driving very much like the bottle a year ago. Still has a very new world feel to it, a little Bordeaux funk but very modern. Now is good.

June 3, 2023 - Brown edges, over its peak - nevertheless nice. Was my last one. Enjoyed the ˋ09 and ˋ10 very much over the years.

Smooth pleasant wine with a nice label.

May 20, 2023 - 0.375 L bottle late May 2023: not decanted; dark crimson color; bouquet of dark berries, plum, toast, black olive, herbes de Provence and truffle; smooth on the palate balanced by a fleshy acidity; quite tannic in the cheeks; medium/full body; long finish.

    14.5% vol. alcohol; 90% Merlot + 10% Cabernet Franc
