June 1, 2021 - Red fruited with a panoply of spices and a cooling menthol note. Light+ bodied with tannins that are mostly integrated tannins and pleasant acidity. Well balanced, with a long finish. Very pleasurable. In a good place now and should drink well two decades from vintage.

December 26, 2020 - An excellent pinot noir. Spice and red fruit on the nose, and the palate is pure, crisp and energetic, with a burst of lively red fruit. This doesn't quite reach the complexity of Skyline or Swan Terrace, but it's not far behind. What a pleasure! In a great spot, but no need to rush. Riedel Burgundy stems, no decant.

October 16, 2020 - Tasty dark berry, mushroom and earthy spice notes on the nose and savory palate with resolving tannins on the moderate finish.

October 7, 2020 - A very good bottle after 30 minutes of opening it. I was surprised considering the vintage and how the wine have held up. Typical good Rhys in it's prime, this bottle represents why I buy Rhys, perhaps getting a bit tired but yum - had a half bottle left which I did not open until 2 days after. Vacu pumped in fridge. Was just as good drinking, perhaps better...but after nursing it over an hour and a half it completely died. Last sip was like taking bad medicine. If you still have these drink em up. If you have too many to drink right away invite me over....
