September 7, 2021 - This is big and bold for a champagne, and it is holding up well. Yeast, oak, toast and nuts are evident. It really smoothed out over time.

July 29, 2021 - Golden, clear, big bubbles. Lychee, toast, lemon peel, biscuit, red and yellow apple aroma. Lychee, lemon peel, lime peel, autolysis/ biscuit taste. Mature, some honey and cooked apple on the exit.

October 30, 2020 - Deep, dry, restrained power, some oxidative tones - quite impressive

October 3, 2020 - Light gold. Looks pretty youthful still. Mousse doesn’t hang around but perle persists for the (short) length of the bottle. Yes, nose is advancing, There’s a bakewell tart element to the yeasty rich nose. I’m thinking almond paste The fruit on the nose reminds me more of lemon sherbet than apple which made me think either my nose is shot or this is evolving in some way. Whatever, in the mouth this is medium weight, still feels young, plenty of bready, zesty notes and the fruit finishes back in the apple camp. It’s not overly complex and I’d say it’s got a deal more evolving to do but this is in a splendid place now.
